The Port Authority PBA always honors and remembers Port Authority Police Officer Henry J. Koebel Jr. (E.O.W. May 26, 1978).
Police Officer Koebel was fatally shot by an assailant while taking police action at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. He was 28 years old and a two-year member of the Port Authority Police Department.
