Rest in peace, Columbus County, North Carolina, Deputy Sheriff Damian Draper Bost (EOW June 25, 2026).
Deputy Bost was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer while providing protection for a road-paving crew.
Deputy Bost was 30 years old and had served with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Of-fice for eight years. He is survived by his wife and two children.
