The Port Authority PBA always honors and remembers Port Authority Police Officer William J. Leahy (EOW June 6, 2019).
Police Officer Leahy succumbed to a 9/11 illness contracted during his heroic and selfless work in the toxic environment of the World Trade Center Rescue and Recovery. He served the people of New York, New Jersey and the millions using Port Authority facilities daily from April 26, 1993, until his passing.
