Police Officer Abdelnabi responded to reports of a man waving a gun. Upon arrival, Abdelnabi was met with gunfire. During the ensuing gun battle, Abdelnabi was fatally shot.
He was 30 years old, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and had served with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for two years and eight months.
