Rest in peace, Appomattox County, Virginia, Deputy Sheriff Burlie W. Duvall III (EOW August 6, 2026).
Deputy Duvall was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer while assisting at a multivehicle crash. He was 33 years old and is survived by his wife and three children.
