On August 16, the PAPD Twins and the MTAPD Express faced off in a charity softball game at the home of the Long Island Ducks, Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip, New York. The Express defeated the Twins in a slugfest, 29–9.
The game raised funds for Beyond the Badge NY, which has a stated mission of “reducing the growing epidemic of first responder suicides.”
