Henry Cando, 43, of Union City, and Raudy Morel Bueno, 27, of Guttenberg, were arrested in separate incidents on Sunday, according to Port Authority spokesman Joseph Pentangelo.
Cando was pulled over around 1:15 a.m. after driving slowly in a red Honda and swerving in and out of his lane on the lower level of the bridge, Pentangelo stated. He allegedly had bloodshot eyes, smelled of alcohol and had a blood alcohol content of more than .10 percent. The legal limit is .08 percent.
Two hours later around 3:15 a.m. Bueno was pulled over in a black Toyota after swerving into other lanes of traffic, according to Pentangelo. He ignored the instructions to pull over at first and left the bridge before stopping at a traffic light on Fletcher Avenue in Fort Lee, the spokesman said.
Bueno failed a sobriety test with a BAC of more than .13 percent, Pentangelo stated. He was also wanted on an active criminal warrant from Hudson County for child neglect and a suspended license.
