Port Authority Cops Board Flight for "Disturbance"

UPDATE 4:30 p.m.: The Transportation Security Administration confirmed that a female passenger made a verbal bomb threat during the flight. Officials swept the plane and found nothing dangerous on-board. The passenger was taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation, according to TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein. The woman was not publicly identified.

NEWARK — Police boarded a United flight upon its arrival from Chicago at Newark Liberty International Airport on Saturday night, though it’s not clear why.
