7 JFK Workers Injured After Noxious Liquid Leaks in Facility, Officials Say

Several workers at John F. Kennedy Airport were injured after being exposed to a liquid used in cosmetics Friday morning, officials said. The noxious liquid, which was identified as Origanum, leaked from a 55-gallon drum after it was possibly struck by a forklift in a cargo facility, according to the Port Authority.

Thief Bought Plane Tickets Just To Swipe Goods From Airport Shops

He put the free in duty free. A thief bought plane tickets to get access to the shops in JFK’s Terminal 4 and then cleaned them out of about $18,000 worth of Fitbits and fancy perfumes in four heists this year, cops said.

Port Authority Detectives Arrest Suspect In $14,000 JFK Thefts

Port Authority police detectives nabbed an upstate New York man who they said stole nearly $14,000 worth of merchandise from a duty-free store and Hudson News at JFK Airport. Eric Love, 50, of Schenectady was charged with grand larceny stemming from three incidents — one on Jan. 23, the next on April 2 and, finally, on April 14, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.
