Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr., today announced the indictment of LUIS RAMIREZ, 23, for allegedly making terroristic threats to Central Synagogue and the Jewish community in Manhattan. RAMIREZ is charged in a New York State Supreme Court indictment with one count each of Making a Terroristic Threat as a Hate Crime, Making a Terroristic Threat and Aggravated Threat of Mass Harm.

Three people were arrested and two others remain at large after a stolen car rammed a police vehicle twice during a high-speed chase that ended near the George Washington Bridge, authorities said. Leonia Police Sgt. Ray Forsdahl was on patrol on Broad Avenue near the Englewood border around 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, when a license plate reader hit on a black 2017 Mercedes-Benz 4-door sedan that had been reported stolen earlier that day in Newark, Leonia Police Chief Scott Tamagny said.
