Rest in peace, Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Jerry Wayne Adamick Jr. (EOW 9/15/2025). Trooper Adamick was responding to a call for assistance from officers when he was killed in a single-vehicle crash. He was 44 years old and had served as Texas DPS trooper for one year. He previously served in the United States Army for more than 20 years. Trooper Adamick is survived by his wife and five adult children. Trooper, rest in the Lord’s eternal embrace. On Saturday, September 13, the Tri-State 9-11 Foundation in Lamar, Colorado, unveiled a bronze sculpture of retired Port Authority Police Detective Will Jimeno at the Tri-State 9-11 Memorial. The sculpture joins those of New York City firefighter Stephen Siller and a soldier. The three statues are presented in a “Field of Dreams” pose on the Tri-State 9-11 Memorial’s center wall. Eventually, the combined display will be entitled “Running Toward Danger.” Read More
