Tri-State 9-11 Memorial Foundation Unveils Bronze Sculpture Honoring Retired Port Authority Police Detective Will Jimeno

September 13, 2025 by 911MEDIA

On Saturday, September 13, the Tri-State 9-11 Foundation in Lamar, Colorado, unveiled a bronze sculpture of retired Port Authority Police Detective Will Jimeno at the Tri-State 9-11 Memorial. The sculpture joins those of New York City firefighter Stephen Siller and a soldier. The three statues are presented in a “Field of Dreams” pose on the Tri-State 9-11 Memorial’s center wall. Eventually, the combined display will be entitled “Running Toward Danger.”

Learn about the memorial’s creation, the founder, the sculptor and Will’s connection by reading “A Dream of Remembrance” at https://apbweb.com/2025/04/a-dream-of-remembrance/.
