In Remembrance: San Bernardino County, California, Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Nunez

Rest in peace, San Bernardino County, California, Sheriff’s Department Deputy Andrew Nunez (EOW 10/27/2025).

Deputy Nunez responded to a call from a woman who reported being threatened by a man with a gun. Once on scene, the man opened fire, striking Deputy Nunez in the head and killing him.

Deputy Nunez was a six-year veteran of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. He was 28 years old and is survived by his pregnant wife and 2-year-old daughter.

Andrew, rest in the Lord’s eternal embrace. Always Honored, Never Forgotten.
