Rest in peace, Virginia Corrections Officer Jeremy Hall (EOW 11/17/2025).
Officer Hall was viciously attacked and killed by an inmate inside the River North Correctional Center in Independence, Virginia. Two other officers were also injured and hospitalized.
He was 40 years old and had served with the Virginia Department of Corrections for one year and six months.
