PAPD WTC Command Police Officers Welcome Survivor Families

Recently, Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) New York Metro Chapter and Law Enforcement Officers Weekend (LEO Weekend) hosted the families of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty for a visit to New York City.

During their stay, the families visited the World Trade Center and the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. Austin Glickman, founder and president of LEO Weekend, said, “The PAPD welcomed us with open arms!” PAPD WTC Command Police Officers Siver and Ferrara greeted the families and took photos with them.

Participants included the LODD families of:

  • Sergeant Daniel Baker, EOW 5/30/18, Dickson County, TX
  • Deputy Ryan Thomas, EOW 12/6/16, Valencia County, NM
  • Probation Officer Dean Salazar, EOW 1/31/19, Kendall, TX
  • Patrolman Scott Moyer, EOW 5/26/17, Lancaster, OH
  • Police Officer Joseph Burson, EOW 6/17/21, Holly Springs, GA
  • Detective Stephen Mullen, EOW 12/7/18, Suffolk County, NY
