PAPD WTC Officers Apprehend Suspect Wanted in Connection With Multiple Thefts

December 15, 2025 by 911MEDIA

Police Officers Devon Moses, Rocio Sanchez Mendez and Steven Moscoso

A larceny pattern allegedly committed by a 22-year-old male came to an end when Port Authority Police Officer Devon Moses observed the suspect inside the World Trade Center Oculus on Sunday, December 14. Officer Moses, who was familiar with the suspect from a PAPD WTC Detective Squad BOLO, alerted Police Officers Steven Moscoso and Rocio Sanchez Mendez.

The three officers quickly developed and executed a plan to prevent the suspect’s escape, leading to his apprehension. The suspect was wanted in connection with multiple thefts from the Apple Store totaling more than $7,000. The arrest was made without injury to the suspect or the officers.
