Rest in peace, Weakley County, Tennessee, Deputy Sheriff Derrick Bonham (EOW 1/30/2026).
Early Friday morning, Deputy Bonham responded to a local hotel for a shots-fired call. Once on scene, the shooter was observed in a vehicle and began firing, fatally striking Deputy Bonham. He was 38 years old and a two-year veteran of the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department. He is survived by his wife and three children.
