Port Authority Police Officers Devon Moses and Ryan Lopez of the PAPD World Trade Center Command were recently involved in a foot pursuit with NYPD officers of a burglary suspect in the vicinity of the World Trade Center. The officers pursued the suspect north on Greenwich Street and east on Cortlandt Street. Police Officer Lopez apprehended the suspect at Cortlandt Street and Broadway.
Lopez and Moses were later informed that the suspect was one of three individuals who allegedly committed a burglary at 125 Greenwich Street. Additional NYPD officers apprehended the other two suspects.
A job well done by all, and a good example of interagency cooperation.
