On Friday, March 20, PAPD officers at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, received a report of a gun aboard a Greyhound bus on the lower level of the terminal’s south wing. Officers secured the firearm and interviewed the driver, who provided suspect information. As officers canvassed the area, Police Officer Matthew Wiessensee located and detained a 39-year-old Massachusetts man for investigation. The bus driver positively identified him as the suspect. Further investigation revealed the suspect to be in possession of ammunition and cocaine. The suspect was arrested and faces various charges.
