Port Authority police arrest man after gun, drugs found in tractor-trailer

December 4, 2017 by PAPBA

At 10 a.m. Sunday, Port Authority police stopped a 2016 Hino tractor-trailer driven by Michael Anthony Paige Morse, 27, of Denver, Colorado, after it set off the over-height alarm at the Lincoln Tunnel toll plaza, said Joe Pentangelo, senior police public information officer.

Paige Morse gave police an expired New Mexico driver’s license. Further investigation revealed  a 9 mm Glock pistol with a 15-round magazine loaded with 14 rounds and one in the chamber. Another magazine containing nine rounds was found in the truck along with metal knuckles, a jar containing 24 grams of suspected marijuana, a glassine envelope containing marijuana, four alleged THC gummies and drug paraphernalia, said Pentangelo. Paige Morse was arrested and the truck was impounded.

Paige Morse faces charges of unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a high-capacity magazine, unlawful possession of armor-penetrating bullets, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic summonses.
