On Tuesday, April 21, a Port Authority police officer was on patrol on the Staten Island Expressway when the officer’s patrol vehicle was rear-ended by a truck. The officer sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital for evaluation. The Port Authority PBA reminds all motorists to drive with situational awareness for their safety and that of others.
