Rest in peace, Alhambra, California, Police Officer Alec Sanders (EOW 11/20/2025). Police Officer Sanders was struck and killed by a vehicle that was fleeing from police. He was 28 years old and had served eight months with the Alhambra Police Department. He had previously served one year with the Long Beach, California, Police Department. Rest in peace, Indian River County, Florida, Deputy Sheriff Terri Mashkow (EOW 11/21/2025). Deputy Mashkow was fatally shot while serving an eviction order. She was 47 years old and had served with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office for 25 years. She is survived by her husband. Terri, rest in the Lord’ s eternal embrace. He visited the PAPD Bus Terminal Command with the Gary Sinise Foundation on Thursday, November 20. Lieutenant Doubraski succumbed to a 9/11 illness contracted during his heroic and selfless work in the toxic environment of the WTC Rescue and Recovery Mission. Rest in peace, Virginia Corrections Officer Jeremy Hall (EOW 11/17/2025). Officer Hall was viciously attacked and killed by an inmate inside the River North Correctional Center in Independence, Virginia. Two other officers were also injured and hospitalized.
