Tommy had served with the PAPD for 22 years and was a longtime Port Authority PBA official. He previously served as a probation officer and a Newark, New Jersey, police officer.

PBA President Frank Conti said, “We mourn the passing of retired Police Officer Thomas Moore. Tommy served the membership as PBA first vice president until his retirement in 2002. He was a smart, tough union representative, and we are thankful for his contributions to our union and members.”
