Rest in peace, Iberville Parish, Louisiana, Deputy Sheriff Charles Riley (EOW 10/6/2025).
Deputy Riley was shot and killed by a suspect being questioned in connection with a sex crime investigation. Another deputy was shot and wounded and is currently in critical condition.
Deputy Riley had served with the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office for six years and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
