Recently, Port Authority Police Officer Manuel Martinez, assigned to the PAPD Newark Liberty International Airport Command, learned that the Abington Avenue School in Newark had little to no outdoor recess equipment for its students. Officer Martinez contacted the school and asked staff to create a wish list. The officers of the NLIA Command then stepped in and fulfilled the school’s recess equipment needs.
