Rest in peace, Hays, Kansas, Police Sergeant Scott Heimann (EOW 9/28/2025). Sergeant Heimann, 32, was shot and killed while responding to a barricaded suspect in a domestic violence incident. On Friday, September 26, in the Bronx, New York City, Law Enforcement Officers Weekend hosted the family of fallen Port Authority Police Officer Anthony Varvaro (EOW 9/11/2022) at Yankee Stadium. The Varvaro family enjoyed watching the New York Yankees defeat the Baltimore Orioles, a game in which Aaron Judge homered and Giancarlo Stanton went deep twice.

On Saturday, September 27, at the World Trade Center, Tunnel to Towers hosted the family of fallen Carroll County, Indiana, Deputy Sheriff Noah Rainey (EOW 1/29/2022) during their visit to New York City.
